The Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the very latest development in terms of broadband wireless telecom technology, referred to in North America as 4G, which enables users to access the internet at extremely high speed reaching 130 Mbps.

The CEO of Umniah Ihab Hinnawi commented on the breakthrough: "we are proud to launch this service in Jordan even though it is limited to certain geographical locations.
